What's not to love on the island of Bequia?! It is simply a beautiful island with lovely vegetation and turquoise waters. For a day trip to Bequia, it is easy to see most of the main parts of the island in a short amount of time. If entering from Port Elizabeth, it is a short walk to get to the head of the Princess Margaret Trail, which runs along the edge of the gorgeous bay. At the end of the trail you arrive at the Princess Margaret Beach, which has an enticing sandy beach and comfortable shade trees. The little village center at Port Elizabeth has a few shops and stands to purchase souvenirs and t-shirts.
