Boatyard in Barbados -Worth it Excursion? Day 6 Royal Caribbean Jewel of the Seas shipwreck snorkel
YouTube Video Description↓
Carnival Cruise Platinum members trying our first Royal Cruise!!! We tried to do a similar itinerary twice but Hurricane Maria and the Covid cancelled them both and Carnival doesn't do this itinerary anymore. Another new location for us! The farthest out we've been in the Caribbean! We got to Barbados and the family was going to take a cab to the Boatyard while I ran there while first running by Rhianna's childhood home. So cool, Rhianna Drive a must for all Rhianna fans. Barbados also was really nice. At the Boatyard we got the pass that gave us snorkeling, food and drink credit and a chair and umbrella! So worth it...i'd do it all again in a heartbeat! We first went snorkeling to look for fish, rays and turtles and saw one sea turtle and some tarpon. The next stop had more fish than I've ever seen in my life and an awesome shipwreck! Such a cool tour, flexible and easy and quick enough that we could enjoy the Boatyard. And we did! We bought happy hour drinks to start (before noon, but 5pm somewhere) and used our food credit for pasta and some tendies! Then more drinks!!! And we played and played on the rope swing and jump and some trampoline and slide! Enjoyed the beach, lazed, got some free shots! Then back to the boat for dinner. The seas were a little rough that night which made the pool extra fun for the kids. One more sea day then debarkation. All video done by iphone or GoPro.
