Breaking Cruise News. CDC updates Face Mask Policy for all US Cruises for vaccinated cruises and vaccinated cruisers. Also, CDC approves first cruise to sail out of the US under the conditional sail order. This first cruise out of the US will be on the Celebrity Edge on June 26th, 2021. This is after the CDC gave approval to Royal Caribbean Cruise Line to allow Test Cruises to Restart in June. Late Wednesday evening the CDC updated its website with updated policies for both Face Masks and Social Distancing for fully vaccinated cruise passengers. This includes specifics including the ability to separate fully vaccinated cruisers from unvaccinated cruisers on the cruise ship in different areas such as dining, casino, gym, spa and theatre. CDC sent approval for Celebrity Cruise Line to skip test sailings on Celebrity Edge and restart cruising in June 2021. Celebrity also explained what would need to happen in order for families with unvaccinated kids to cruise alongside fully vaccinated cruisers. This is the latest cruise news allowing cruising to restart in the US!
