We were supposed to be visiting LeHavre, France but due to a labor strike at the port, Bruges, Belgium became our Port #8. We were able to see a short presentation on Bruges in the Princess Theatre and were excited to see this city. After some confusion regarding transportation from Zeebruge Port, we headed out on a bus for a 30 minute ride to this BEAUTIFUL city known for its centuries old buildings, canals, horse-drawn carriage rides through the cobbled streets, waffles and YES...Chocolates!! (Visit Dumon Chocolatier, our favorite!) Located in Northwest Belgium, Bruges is often referred to as the "Venice Of The North". ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!!
