It is our last day on the Carnival Breeze on this 5 day cruise in August 2023. We had a delicious brunch that morning and then watched the Military Appreciation gathering at the Ovation Theater. It was our first time seeing this and we like the fact that Carnival honors all veterans and current members of the U.S Military. Before dinner, we saw the last show, "the World works here" and it highlights all the countries represented by all the crew of the ship. Later that evening, we had dinner at the main dining room and got to eat the baked Alaska dessert! They only serve this on the last night and it is really good if you like ice-cream and cake! The dining crew sang the farewell song, "Leaving our fun ship", which is Carnival's version of John Denver's "Leaving on a jet plane."
