Welcome to my 7 Day Eastern Caribbean Cruise on the Carnival Celebration sailing out of Miami! We are making stops in Amber Cove, San Juan, and St. Thomas. And it's my annual birthday cruise! Today is the final port day. Today we are in St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. It is my first time here and we decided to just explore the port and see if we could walk around the city. The port is a nice area. There are plenty of places to shop and drink. There is even a brewery within walking distance right outside the port area, Leatherback Brewing Company, that has good beer and a relaxed atmosphere. I wanted to see Blackbeard's castle but about halfway to it, we checked google and it was closed so we decided to go see Bluebeard's Castle, which is a nice little resort. Bluebeard's Castle is a museum and fascinating to walk through and see pirate history. Once back on the Celebration, we ate at Chibang, which is a Mexican and Chinese restaurant. On the Celebration, everyone can eat there one time for free, and then after that, it is $8 per meal. It was OK, nothing there really got me excited, but I wanted to take advantage of a specialty dining place. Then we caught the end of Amor Cubano before calling it a night. Thanks for watching!
