What happened to Carnival Ecstasy? We take a look back over the 31 years of service that Carnival Ecstasy spent with Carnival Cruise Line. Carnival Ecstasy Tour: https://youtube.com/watch?v=0eh74zxkC5A [About This Video] Carnival Ecstasy has been sold and will soon become melted-down steel metal. The 1991 launched ship was the second vessel in Carnival Cruise Line's successful Fantasy-class lineup and became a victim of the cruise industry shutdown in 2020 as cruise lines did everything they could to try to stay in business. The final voyage for Carnival Ecstasy was on October 10, 2022, from Mobile, Alabama, to Cozumel and Progresso, Mexico. On October 15, it debarked guests from the lido deck for the last time, and sailed to Miami. It offloaded casino equipment in South Florida before leaving for the scrapyard in Turkey.
