Carnival Horizon deck 5 HD video tour. We start on the aft part of the ship in the Havana Retreat, make our way up to Ocean Plaza, past the coffee shop, through Guy’s Fieri’s Pig and Anchor Smokehouse & Brewhouse, through the atrium, outside, and end in the Liquid Lounge. Read a full review of Carnival Horizon: https://cruiseradio.net/carnival-horizon-review/ The Havana Retreat area located on deck 5 aft on Carnival Horizon was very relaxing and a real gem for guests that book Havana suites on the ship. On average these suites have a $300 per person premium and well worth it. You have the aft area to yourself until 7 pm, when it opens up to the general public. Ocean Plaza is a gathering point that hosts breakfast and lunch during dining times, trivia, dance classes, live music, and is quiet at certain times during the day. This is a spillover place for guests that can’t find a seat in the Pig and Anchor smokehouse during lunchtime hours. The Java Cafe and Shake Spot are popular during the morning rush, normally between 7 am and 8 am, otherwise you can expect to wait five minutes or so for a cup of coffee. The shakes are really good, especially the spiked ones with a little rum added. The Pig and Anchor Smokehouse Brewhouse serves lunch, dinner, has a brewery, and live music. The complimentary lunch on sea days is really popular and gets crowded at noon. The main intersection of the ship is located on deck five just above the casino. That is where you’ll find the Alchemy Bar, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Bonsai Sushi, Bonsai Teppanyaki, Piano Bar, and the Library Bar. The Dreamscape atrium spans decks 3, 4, and 5. The atrium bar is open all day and a perfect gathering spot for folks that have dinner in the Reflections dining room on deck 3. There is a lot of outdoor areas on Carnival Horizon, including outside areas of Bonsai Sushi, Cherry on Top, the steakhouse, and Pig & Anchor barbeque. The Liquid Lounge is two stories in the front of the ship accessible from deck 4 and 5. A word of advice if you want to get a good seat that is unobstructed, get to the show early. There are a couple of poles in the way in the main theater that can block your siteline.
