Read a full review of Carnival Horizon: https://cruiseradio.net/carnival-horizon-review/ One of the things I did not realize when it was assigned was it butted up against the IMAX theater located on deck six, so anytime there was loud rumbles or an action scene on the big screen my room would shake. At first I thought it was the thrusters of the ship, but by the second day it realized it was the theater. Know if you book this stateroom that there will be a little shaking and noise. They usually don’t show movies past midnight so the noise is done by then. One of the perks of booking a guaranteed cabin is the price break you get, but if you’re someone who wants to be at a certain area of the ship or do not like noise, you may want to book a confirmed room. Sometimes it’s good to roll the dice because booking an interior cabin means that you’re at least guaranteed an inside, but could be upgraded to a porthole or an ocean view stateroom.
