I reveal the truth about the Carnival Mardi Gras on her inaugural sailing. The worst thing about the ship will also be revealed, as my thoughts about the cruise are discussed. This was my fourth solo cruise. We begin on debarkation morning, the last day of the Mardi Gras ship's first cruise. This was the first time a Carnival ship had debarkation at the brand new Terminal 3 in Port Canaveral. After a delicious breakfast at Cucina del Capitano, featuring french toast and eggs, I head out to Summer Landing to relax before leaving the ship. Back at home, I review everything about the Carnival Mardi Gras - what I liked and disliked about the ship, and things I wish Carnival Cruise Line would work to improve. I also discuss the worst thing about the ship. The Carnival Mardi Gras was the first ship to sail from Port Canaveral in over 15 months. The Mardi Gras is the brand new ship from Carnival Cruise Line, the first of its Excel Class of ships.
