Date Filmed: July 27, 2021 Hello Happy Travelers! Let’s Party On The Mardi! Welcome to our Mardi Gras Palooza Week! This week we are providing daily content to get excited for the upcoming inaugural sailing of Carnival’s newest ship, Mardi Gras. This is a very innovative ship with lots of new features and experiences! In today’s video, we are discussing the top activities that we are most looking forward to experiencing onboard! Carnival says they are the FUN SHIPS, and I think they are correct about this one, because there is a lot of fun to be had with Mardi Gras! First and foremost, the activity that has us the most hyped is BOLT, the first rollercoaster at sea! Topping out at 40 mph, this is going to be a unique experience onboard that will be a must do! It will give a fantastic view of the Ultimate Playground, and of course, the beautiful ocean. We can't wait! Next up is Waterworks, which is the waterslide area onboard. Featuring a total of four slides (body slide, mat slide, drop floor slide, and kid's slide) and fun splash sprayers, it is going to be the perfect place to cool off onboard. Another exciting item is the SkyCourse ropes course! Also found on the Ultimate Playground, you will be able to put your obstacle course skills to the test by completing an array of tight ropes, zip lines, and hurdles in the sky! Another new feature to this ship that we are looking forward to is Family Feud LIVE! This entertainment Game Show was designed just like the classic game show, and will be featured in one of the most exciting new venues, Grand Central! Last up for discussion is not so much an activity, but something we still find fun, which is having Themed Zones onboard. There will be six zones including Grand Central, The Ultimate Playground, The French Quarter, Lido, Summer Landing, and La Piazza! We really appreciate and enjoy fun theming, so we think we are going to find these zones very fun!
