On August 21, 2021 I set sail on the Carnival Panorama for the restart of the west coast Mexico cruises. This is day 4 of the cruise, and our first day in port. In Puerto Vallarta, I took a shore excursion (booked through the cruise line) called Play, Relax, Unwind at Sabal Playa (and the resort they took us to was Sabal Playa). It took about half an hour by bus to get to the resort, and we had four hours there. It was a lovely relaxing day, and a great way to spend time on vacation. The beach was nice, but it dropped off abruptly pretty close to shore, so I didn't want to chance an under toe experience and stayed in the infinity pool instead. There were plenty of shade umbrellas to relax under both poolside and on the beach. The vendors came up to the property line, but stayed on the beach side, so if you wanted to shop you could walk over to them, but they didn't bother you at the pool or on the property. The total for my chips and guacamole, a mojito, a towel and the coke was about $20 US. So the resort was not all inclusive, but it was not expensive either. I have several more videos for this cruise, as well as future cruises booked through the rest of this year and beyond. Thanks for watching!
