Carnival Splendor Mexican Riviera Vlog - Day 3

Hey Cruisers, It's day 3 of our Carnival Splendor Mexican Riviera Cruise, and we're heading out for an awesome Carnival excursion in Cabo. Splendor takes advantage of the retractable roof, and I think it enhances the cruise experience. We've got big activities planned for this day with Carnival's own Aqua Trio Adventure excursion. It's a day filled with beautiful ocean scenery, powered water snorkel scooters, kayaking, and standup paddle boarding. Cabo is a tender port, and we were happy to see Splendor taking advantage of Cabo's own tender service. I prefer Cabo Tenders because they are more open, and don't feel quite as stuffy as the ship's tenders. In port security checks meant long lines, but it actually went quite quickly. After a short wait, we were off on our adventure. Our guide took us on a little detour for some bonus whale watching. If you look carefully you'll see the whale we spotted. The first part of the Aqua Trio Adventure was snorkel scooter, and I've gotta say these were super fun. We were a little worried it would be too much for our son, and weren't sure he'd like it. You'll see his reaction in the video. Kayaking was relatively relaxing, and we all enjoyed the family time together. The standup paddle boarding was more of a workout than I expected, but hey, gotta work off the buffet some time, right?
