Hi Cruisers! It's day 5 of our Carnival Splendor Mexican Riviera cruise, and we've got a full day of fun, adventure, and new cruise experiences ahead of us. We kick this vlog off with a beautiful panoramic view of Puerto Vallarta. The sky is blue, and it's going to be a wonderful day. Our plan for the day is to grab a cab and head out to the Hyatt Ziva. We'll buy a day pass, and relax by the pools or hang out on the beach, but our first mission is to get a reasonable price on our cab. Usually we walk out of the security area to get the best price, but we found out the hard way that it doesn't always work out. We'll let you know how it turns out in this video. When we arrive at the Ziva we are a little surprised by the massive crowds, and the lack of available lounge chairs. Time for plan B. The beach proves to be quite a bit more welcoming, and we decide to wait out the pools. If you're planning a trip to the Hyatt Ziva you'll want to see how our plan turns out. We'll also give you a good look at the hotel restaurant and some of our food selections. Of course there is something else happening in this vlog that we've been excitedly waiting for. Yes, it's the Rock and Glow 80's party! We've got some pretty silly outfits planned for this night, and we are goin' for it 80's style.
