On May 29, 2023, Carnival Cruise Line launched Carnival Venezia in Barcelona. We were there for the inaugural sailing of this beautiful new cruise ship and were also there for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the ship's dedication. This video starts with a quick tour of the terminal and updates on inaugural sailing morning. In addition to the ribbon cutting, we got a behind-the-scenes look at the exchanging of plaques ceremony. When a ship makes a call for the first time to a port, there is a small gift exchange that is typically performed behind closed doors. We capture it all for you in this video! The video features speeches and ship dedications from: Christine Duffy, President, Carnival Cruise Lines John Heald, Carnival Cruise Line Brand Ambassador Captain Claudio, Captain of the Carnival Venezia This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
