This is especially true when examining Sky Suites on Celebrity Apex and the other Edge Class ships in the fleet. These upgraded staterooms offer more space, amenities, elegant finishes, and additional onboard perks. When it comes to the room size, the Celebrity Cruises Sky Suite on Edge Class ships is 20% to 40% bigger than a typical veranda stateroom. For some, this additional space is well worth upgrading to a suite. Along with more interior main cabin space, the bathroom in a Sky Suite is twice the size of a typical cruise ship bathroom. There are also a number of other suite amenities that might help convince you to upgrade. The additional storage space, which includes two separate closets as well as a dresser, additional furniture, and plenty of walking room to maneuver around the cabin are just some of these enhancements. It does not feel cramped at all which is often the case in a balcony cabin. In fact, you might even forget you are in a cruise ship cabin as it feels more like a luxury hotel room. The bathroom in the Celebrity Cruises' Sky suite was massive. It included a shower/tub area, a double vanity, a makeup counter, and a separate area for the toilet. This made getting ready during the cruise very efficient. This also meant I was able to use the desk for work and some blogging, as the wife had her own area to get ready in the bathroom. ----Balcony on Sky Suites on Celebrity Cruises---- In keeping with the theme, the balcony was also much larger than what we have come to expect on a cruise. The area comfortably fit the two chairs and small table that come standard on other balconies in addition to two full lounge chairs. Still, there was even plenty of space to walk. ----Celebrity Cruises Suite Perks--- Staying in a suite on Celebrity Cruises entitles travelers to a number of perks. First, cruisers get their own private sundeck, the Retreat Sun Deck. This exclusive outdoor space on Celebrity Apex includes loungers, a whirlpool, a small pool, and even a bar. Suite guests also get to enjoy the exclusive Retreat Lounge. With additional seating and an bar, this indoor space is great for socializing or relaxing. Cruisers on Celebrity Apex staying in a suite also have access to Luminae. This is a private restaurant only available to those staying in suite cabins. This restaurant is located on Deck 12 forward on Celebrity Apex. The Luminae restaurant serves complimentary breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an elevated menu. Additional perks when staying in a suite on Celebrity Cruises include a Premium Beverage Package, an Unlimited Stream Internet Package, Gratuities, priority check-in and tendering, and reserved theater seating on Evening Chic nights. So, you can see that upgrading to a suite on Celebrity Cruises is certainly worth it!
