Our second port of call was the fabulous City of Christchurch. Because we had fabulous weather yet again we were able to take our planned trip up the mountain on the gondola for some fantastic views over Christchurch and the bay and then head on back down for a leisurely punt on the Avon. There were a couple of dramas along the way but we still managed to top the day off with a look around the portside markets before heading back to the ship to enjoy dinner, the show and the evening entertainment, which we have found to be superb so far.
