Celebrity Reflection | Travel and Embarkation Day | Our First Celebrity Cruise

Join us for a look at our travel day from DFW to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and embarkation day on Celebrity Reflection! We were joined by Daniel from @WereAllChefs and we took him to experience some classic Floridian cuisine (Publix subs lol) and we spent the day in Dania beach to have lunch, hang out, and watch the ships leave port. For embarkation day we discuss our initial impressions of this Solstice-Class ship, our room, the food in the main dining room, our drink packages, and other important things that pop up on your cruise! This is our first time trying a different cruise line after a ton of Royal Caribbean cruises, and we will share all of our thoughts on the differences and if we enjoyed it. Nicole and I live to travel, We just want to see the world, experience cultures, and try all kinds of food. This cruise was a 4-night cruise from Fort Lauderdale, Florida stopping in Key West and Coco Cay aboard Celebrity Reflection. Celebrity Reflection is the fifth, final, and largest Solstice-class cruise ship, her sister ships being Celebrity Equinox, Celebrity Eclipse, Celebrity Solstice and Celebrity Silhouette. Solstice, Equinox, Eclipse and Silhouette entered service in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 respectively. Reflection was launched in 2012. Since October 2012, it has been owned and operated by Celebrity Cruises. It has one more deck than other Solstice-class cruise ships. The ship can accommodate 3,046 passengers. Celebrity Reflection last dry dock was in October 2022. This refurbishing included regular maintenance, a general refresh and the change to the new dark blue color scheme of Celebrity first showcased on Celebrity Edge.
