While recently in Charleston, South Carolina, I took a harbour cruise tour aboard the Carolina Belle. Charleston Harbour Tours operates several Harbour tours per day, making it a great option when you are in Charleston, whether as a port day, or simply touring in the area. The tour departs from the Charleston Maritime Museum, and includes visits past Fort Sumter, views of beautiful homes on Charleston Harbour, a sail past the historic ships at Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum, under the Arthur Raven Jr. Bridge and when the timing is good, some views of wildlife including birds, and dolphins. Currently the Carnival Sunshine home-ports in Charleston. Carnival Cruise Lines ends its lease in Charleston Harbour in 2024 at which time the Harbour front will be redeveloped.
