2022 didn't start off as planned when I got COVID on my New Year's sailing on Carnival Miracle. At the time, I recorded the experience and captured photos and video to document what it was like to get quarantined on a cruise ship. From quarantine room details, to canceled flights, to a charter bus that took me to the hotel... this story has it all! ;) Apologies for any coughing; I did try to edit most of it out. I was definitely not feeling well the first day of my recording, but by the second day, you can tell that the fever medicine and cough syrup was working it's magic. The crew onboard the Carnival Miracle were absolutely amazing. I can't thank them enough for their kindness and support through this challenging time. When asked, "Will you sail again?" Well... I just did a re-do of New Year's Eve onboard the Carnival Miracle to ring in 2023. This year, I'm feeling great as I head home from Long Beach.
