Day 3 of a great 6 night Western Caribbean cruise on Carnival Miracle, First time experience with a Carnival Excursion. Open Top Bus Cozumel City Tour. $43.99 per person. Downtown Tour, Tequila tasting and Coco's Beach stop. Mario our tour guide was excellent. The history he provided us about Cozumel was enlightening. Mario ensured us that we were safe in the downtown area- free to shop and sight-see. Nice little shops to purchase souvenirs, purses, Mexico household items and jewelry. The pigeon lady was very interesting. Took me back to the movie Home alone. Downtown area several places to take some beautiful pictures. Tequila tasting was nice. The prices of the tequila was outrageous. The 750ml of the mango tequila priced at $85.00. What a rip off!!! The bottle with the worms were highly priced. The chocolate bars were super expensive. Felt a little scammish. Okay let us talk about Coco's beach. The sand was dirty. Small beach. Water was very murky. If you wish to enjoy the ocean- you had to cross over the bridge and sneak to the private resort next to Coco's stop and to enjoy the pretty blue water. Food was good. Myles enjoyed playing the Maracas with the band. If you are looking for a Beach stop in Cozumel- this is not the tour for you. The guided bus tour about the history of Cozumel was good. Make sure to read the reviews of any excursion before purchasing. We didn’t. We will in the future!!! Please subscribe to the channel.
