CLIA Australia sees over 30,000 responses to its Ready, Set, Sail initiative, but we're still waiting to hear from the Government if they are willing to create a framework for the phased resumption of cruising. Domestic cruises to nowhere have been approved in Hong Kong and will be starting in late July with both Royal Caribbean's Spectrum of the Seas and Genting's World Dream set to sail. The ships will sail at 50% capacity and all crew, and all guests over 16 years of age must be vaccinated to travel. In Alaska, the Tourism Recovery Bill has seen the cruise season come back for 2021 and though it will be short, it will be mighty. Princess Cruises, Carnival, Holland America, Norwegian Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises will all be joining in on the cruise season that will see ships finally return to the beautiful Alaskan wilderness.
