After we all got excited when Norwegian Cruise Line announced new safety protocols, now they have hit us with news of more cancellations. NCL has cancelled all cruises in August and most of their September sailings. If your cruise has been affected and you want the refund you need to complete the form between July 6-17. They are not giving guests much time to complete this form so be sure to put a reminder in your phone so you don't miss out. This weeks cruise news update NCL also announced that they will have some Alaska Sailings from Seattle. There has been no additional information about how they are going to do this as some Alaskan ports have said they do not want cruise ships. We are excited to give some positive cruise news today as Virgin Cruise line floated out their new cruise ship. This is their second cruise ship but they have yet to have a maiden voyage. Their first cruise ship, The Scarlet Lady, was supposed to have its maiden voyage in the spring of this year but that has been delayed until October. This new cruise ship is called the Valiant Lady and will be based in the Mediterranean with its maiden voyage planned for February.
