Hey Cruisers, We've got the latest cruise news from Royal Caribbean Group, Princess Cruises, Virgin Voyages, Holland America and more. There's lots happening in cruise news this week, and some really big news for Royal Caribbean fans living on the West Coast. #1 Royal Caribbean returns to the west coast June 2022, see our stand alone video on that: https://youtu.be/cUldXvmWo1M #2 Holland America & Princess officially paused their Alaska seasons via Seattle through June. While Princess Cruises continues to work with various United States and Canadian government officials to try to preserve a portion of the Alaska 2021 cruise season, the company is extending its pause of cruise vacations for sailings from Seattle through June 27, 2021. The pause in operation affects seven-day Alaska Inside Passage cruises on Emerald Princess and Majestic Princess. #3 Virgin Voyages became the latest — and the first large, US based cruise brand to announce that it will require all passengers and crew to have been vaccinated before sailing when cruises resume from U.S. shores. #4 Two US based River cruise lines are starting back up this week #5 P&O Cruises has announced their ‘Ultimate Escape’ cruises-to-nowhere from Southampton this summer. The line will use its flagship Britannia and its brand-new Iona for the 3 to seven night June to September journeys, which will be restricted to fully vaccinated residents of the UK.
