The ship returned immediately to Miami, and the FBI has been investigating. News reports now indicate her body was found under the bed and that her stepbrother is under suspicion. Our hearts break for her family, and we pray for everyone affected. This also prompted Allison to share important cruise safety reminders—especially for solo travelers and anyone returning to their cabin at night: Stay aware of who is around you Secure valuables in the safe Hide electronics when leaving the cabin Report anything that feels “off” to security Travel with friends or groups when possible 🚤 Carnival Lifeboat Accident in Cozumel While in Cozumel, we witnessed a lifeboat fall from the Carnival Dream during testing. A cable appears to have caught and broken. Thankfully it was an unmanned test, and no one was hurt. Photos were shared with us by our Let's Go! family onboard. 🏝️ Princess Beach Escape Excursion Gordon visited the Beach Escape resort in Cozumel and gives a report: Beautiful beach Gets crowded as more ships arrive Food available to purchase, or included in the all-inclusive version Plenty of seating early in the day 😂 How Gordon Became “4-Second Gordon” During the “Yes/No Game Show,” Gordon lasted exactly 4 seconds before saying “Yes, Jeb!” Everyone had a wonderful time, and another member of our group even won the entire 3-minute challenge! 🎶 Princess Entertainment Is Playing Later! This is big: the party band continued past midnight in the Piazza—well past the usual 11:00–11:30 p.m. cutoff. The bars, International Café, and seating areas were full.
