I've been on 24 cruises over the past 3 years and can say my experiences have been nothing like this gentleman claims in his anti cruise speech. Modern ships are huge - they are full of restaurants, bars, live entertainment venues, recreational activities and much more. You will never feel "trapped" in a steel box. Cruise ships are cleaner than any restaurant or hotel you will ever visit on dry land. The food, entertainment and service are exceptional. You will have trouble finding anything close on dry land. There is a wide range of excursions available at every destination. You are not limited to staying in the ports.
