Creator's Key Takeaways

video and pictures do not do this justice. It is so surreal.

nothing compares to seeing it with your own eyes in person.

I forgot to close the door of our bathroom. And so the light was shining brightly into our room at 5:40 this morning. But there's a reason God woke me up early because when I went to go to the bathroom, I spotted water spouting up.

Creator's Tips & Advice

Turn on channel 2 on the TV to hear park ranger announcements while staying in your stateroom.
Visit the Observation Lounge early (around 7:15) to avoid long lines for merchandise and passport stamps.
Bring warm layers, waterproof pants, and gloves for Glacier Bay day, as it gets cold and windy.
If you want to avoid crowds at the bow, visit either first thing in the morning or around 11:00 AM.
Check the Freestyle Daily for the schedule of park ranger presentations and activities.

About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

One of the many reasons we chose Norwegian Cruise Line over Disney Cruise Line for our first Alaskan cruise is for Glacier Bay National Park. We have only ever heard great things about this day, so we wanted to experience it for ourselves. We visit the Observation Lounge for merch and to stamp our National Park Passport Book then enjoy the morning on our aft balcony watching for wildlife. Eating The Haven Restaurant's breakfast for room service was a big win! After Glacier Bay cruising ends, we enjoy Bingo, the arcade, and an absolutely delicious dinner at Food Republic.
