YouTube Video Description

Promotional video of the Cunard Princess from 1986. Originally conceived as a floating Playboy Club by Hugh Hefner, Cunard purchased the ship during construction and named the ship Cunard Conquest. Before launch she was renamed Cunard Princess and ushered in a more informal Cunard experience. She sailed with Cunard from 1976-1995. She then sailed for MSC Cruises from 1995-2009 as the Rhapsody. Then she was sold to Mano Maritime in 2009 and renamed Golden Iris and sailed until 2018. She was scrapped in 2022 at Aliaga, Turkey.
