Creator's Key Takeaways

Today's video is a tough one to make because this is a cruise we really wanted to love, but unfortunately we didn't.

The sushi rice was undercooked and the fish didn't taste fresh. Not a great start at all.

We had booked a standard balcony cabin for 4, so we knew space would be tight. But we didn't expect to arrive and find both Pullman beds already down and the bottom beds unmade.

Ocean Now barely worked for the rest of the cruise, especially outside the cabin.

Creator's Tips & Advice

Consider specialty dining if the main dining room isn't cutting it.
Avoid short cruises if you prefer a more relaxed experience.
Avoid flex time dining if you prefer early fixed-time dining.

Cabin space and bed managementBe prepared for tight space in a balcony cabin for four and manage Pullman beds yourself if needed.
Dining timing and serviceConsider early fixed-time dining to ensure you make shows, as flex dining can lead to slow service.

Discovery Princess review Australia | Princess Cruises honest review | Discovery Princess problems We wanted to love Discovery Princess, but this short 3-night cruise from Sydney left us disappointed. In this honest review, we share what went wrong on our Australia cruise and why it didn’t meet Princess Cruises’ usual standards. Discovery Princess arrived in Australia with huge hype. Launched in 2022, she’s known for elegant design, a stunning piazza, modern cabins, and premium dining. But on our Sydney to Eden cruise, overcrowding, slow food service, unreliable Ocean Now delivery, and a cramped balcony cabin for four overshadowed the excitement. With nearly 4,400 passengers, the ship felt too full for a short sailing — especially after Eden was cancelled due to rough seas, turning the trip into a cruise to nowhere with no compensation. From undercooked sushi and overly salty Main Dining Room meals to long waits for lunch and dining delays, food was a letdown. Add in noisy public spaces, slow bar service, and cabin issues with Pullman beds, and this cruise became a test for guests and crew. Are we being too harsh on Discovery Princess? Or has Princess Cruises changed? 👇 Let us know your Discovery Princess experience in the comments 👍 Like if you appreciate honest cruise reviews 🔔 Subscribe for our back-to-back cruise on Voyager of the Seas next! #DiscoveryPrincess #PrincessCruises #CruiseReview #AustralianCruise #CruiseToNowhere #RoyalClass #travelcruisefeast
