Just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you should skip your trip to Walt Disney World. There are so many things to do in the most magical place on earth when you are an expectant mother. From the shows, to the rides, to the character meet and greets and Mickey shaped snacks, there are a ton of options to keep a mama-to-be busy! Before our precious Winnie girl was born, Jon and I took one last trip to Walt Disney World pre-baby. Disney's Hollywood Studios was a great place to relax and enjoy the Disney magic. The best part about Disney's Hollywood Studios was all of the shows, especially the ones in the AC. Some of those shows include Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, Muppet Vision 3-D, Lightening McQueen's Racing Academy, and more! These attractions are the perfect place to get off of your feet, get out of the sun, enjoy some Disney entertainment, and occasionally get some much needed AC! While there may not be a ton of rides for pregnant women to go on in Hollywood Studios, there are a few that have the Disney stamp of approval (but don't forget to check with your own health care provider first). Toy Story Midway Mania is a great ride to get off of your feet, out of the sun, and in the AC. Plus you get to have some fun battling it out with your significant other (or whoever you choose to ride with). Jon beats me about 90% of the time. Did he beat me this time?! Another ride that is great for expectant mamas is one of Walt Disney World's newest attractions, Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. Another ride to get you off of your feet, out of the sun, and in the AC. The best part is you do not have to miss out on a new attraction (like the rides in Star Wars Land 😕). You can be part of all the newest Disney magic! One other thing we took advantage of since I was expecting at the time of this trip were the awesome character meet and greets. Often times we do not wait to meet some of our favorite characters unless we have a fast pass. This time I was determined to meet some characters that I had never met before. At Hollywood Studios, this was Bo Peep (and Woody though I had met him several times before). The line for Bo Peep and Woody was about a 40 minute wait at park opening. Was it a long time to stand in line, yes, but I was okay to be on my feet that long without a break. Plus, if need be, I could go sit for a few minutes while Jon held our place in line. As a pregnant woman, I did not think people would mind if I had to step out of line for a few minutes to take a break. The perks of pregnancy haha! As it turned out, when it was our time to meet the characters, Woody had to run back to the toy box so I was only able to meet Bo Peep. I had hoped to meet both Woody AND Bo Peep for a great character meet and greet picture, so I mentioned it to the cast members. Of course, they were lovely as ever and they told me I could come back later without having to wait in line so that I could get a picture with both Woody and Bo Peep together. The magic of Disney is always great! So Jon and I did just that. I got a solo pic with Bo Peep, and a little later that morning Jon and I grabbed a quick photo opp with Woody and Bo and got a great keepsake! Overall, a day at Hollywood Studios while you are pregnant is a lot of fun. If you are on the fence about going, I definitely recommend doing it. We had so much fun doing things we either usually skip, or do not always have time for. It was a great way to slow down and enjoy other things at Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you made it this far leave me a "🤠" emoji in the comments (that's a cowboy for our good pal Woody). Until next time, have a magical day!
