This resort is among the best of the "moderate resorts" which offers amazing artwork and theming of a unique blend of Spanish, Mexican and Southwest American cultures throughout the hotel's public areas and guest rooms. The main building at Coronado Springs is the beautiful Gran Destino Tower. Gran Destino Tower offers beautiful, modern accommodations and a roof-top Dahlia Lounge with tapas, cocktails, Spanish beer, wine, and more. The views from the top are incredible! Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood is the tower's featured full-service restaurant featuring tapas, seafood, & steak. Barcelona Lounge is found on the lower-lobby where guests can get espressos, coffee, pastries, and light breakfast fare each morning. In addition to the Gran Destino Tower, there are three-themed guest areas at the resort: Casitas, Ranchos, and Cabanas. Each area has its own small pool. This largest pool is at the resort is The Lost City of Cibola Pool at the Dig Site which features a fantastic water slide made out of 50-foot replica of a Mayan pyramid. Next to the pool is Siestas Cantina for some poolside snacks. The Dig Site is also home a lot of other fun activities such as ping-pong, sand volleyball, and Explorer's Playground. Stock up on amazing merchandise at Panchito's found in El Centro. El Centro also offers other dining such as Rix Sports Bar & Grill, Maya Grill, Café Rix, and El Mercado de Coronado. In the center of the resort is Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Villa del Lago which has fantastic views of the surrounding lake.
