We went on a Disney Cruise!!!!!! I hope you enjoy this series of Disney Cruise Line vlogs!!! We explore Europe by ship!! Disney Magic 8 Night Mediterranean with Greek Isles Cruise June 2022 The Disney Med cruise itinerary was: Day one - Civitavecchia, Rome, Italy Day Two - Messina Sicily Day 3 - At Sea Day 4 - Mykonos, Greece Day 5 - Santorini, Greece Day 6 - Athens, Greece Day 7 - At Sea Day 8 - Naples (Pompeii), Italy Then Day 9 we debarked and explored Rome and Vatican City It's Embarkation Day!!! We embark on the Disney Cruise line ship at the Rome port, Civitavecchia! Cannot wait to bring you along! We start off in our Rome hotel Relais de l'Opera and walk to the main train station in Rome, Roma Termini. I show you how to get to the Disney cruise terminal and port in Rome. We purchase the train tickets at Roma Termini to Civitavecchia. The train to the port is a long way down the platform, I recommend giving yourself plenty of time! We have breakfast at the train station before heading onto the train to the port. After the train journey to Civitavechia I then show you what to do to get from the train station at Civitavecchia to the cruise terminal/port. We took a 3 euro bus which was waiting outside the train station which took us directly to the ship terminal. Once in the terminal it was time to take our covid tests! We showed our prenetics profiles and our check in QR codes etc. We had to wait in the cruise terminal building until we got our test results which took about 10 minutes. Then it was time to embark on the Disney magic!!! We boarded the ship on the gangway at deck 1 so there was no big reception but it still felt amazing to get on the ship!! We went straight to scan our muster stations on our phones and walked around the ship! We headed straight up to deck 9 to have a buffet lunch at Cabanas! The food choice was incredible and I show you everything they had to offer. We sat back in cove Cafe for a little bit and then I showed my parents around the ship! We went to the open house at Senses spa something we always like to do! They showed us the treatment rooms, the rainforest rooms, the couples villa for the couples massage treatments which looked amazing. It was then time to check into our rooms!!! We booked inside staterooms so I give you a tour of the standard inside stateroom. I show you the room space, amenities, storage space, fridge, wardrobes, plug sockets and the bathroom. Next up it was time for the first quiz! Our first disney trivia of many of the trip! I then show you some very funky door magnets we bought from Etsy (link below) to decorate our doors! Then it's time for the sail away party!! or Sail A Wave party should I say!!!! There's a show, characters and the horns go!! We ate at Rapunzel's Royal Table for dinner. I show you the Rapunzel/Tangled show, the menu for Rapunzel's, I show you everything we ate all courses. Mum and Dad then went to watch Up at the Buena Vista Theatre while Simon and I did a few more quizzes/trivia. We take a look around O'Gills and Fathoms. We then go to Mickey's mainsail and White caps stores and I show you all the Disney cruise line merch. Merchandise including cruise line ears, loungefly, homeware, plush, clothes, spirit jerseys, dooney and bourke bags and disney pins. We got back to our cabin and there's a towel animal! We got to get some drinks from the beverage station and meet some characters along the way! We meet Captain Minnie, Goofy and Chip and Dale. We pick up Mum and Dad and head to Fathoms for the 50s and 60s music quiz. WE WON!!!! We go back to our room ready for the next day in Messina, Sicily! I hope you enjoy coming along with us!!!
