Join us as we embark on an exciting transatlantic adventure aboard Cunard's Queen Mary 2, beginning with our embarkation day in New York! After a semi-local drive from New Hampshire to Brooklyn that turned into a 7-hour journey (watch our video on the EV Car Rental experience), we arrived at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. From renting a car in Manchester, NH, to navigating NYC traffic with an all-electric car rental, and finally catching an Uber to the cruise port, it was quite the start to our journey! Once aboard, we’re ready to sail across the Atlantic to Southampton, where the next leg of our world voyage begins. This journey started in NY in January 2024 when we boarded the Queen Mary 2 and sailed to Southampton, England - Tenerife, Spain - Walvis Bay, Namibia - Port Elizabeth, Capetown & Durban, South Africa - Reunion Island - Mauritius Island and then finally Perth, Australia. We stayed in an inside cabin (check out our cabin tour & review video) for 45 days that included a Transatlantic Crosssing and 2 Segments of her World Cruise.
