Creator's Key Takeaways
We walked in as the cast was reblocking one of their shows. Watching them rehearse up close was super cool.
Our tour guide was the best performer on the whole ship. She was so talented and really friendly and it just really made the whole thing feel extra special.
The machines were so huge. There was non-stop action with a team that clearly works around the clock.
We found out the bridge, the actual command center of the ship, was right next to our stateateroom. We had no idea that we were that close to the captain the whole time.

In this vlog, I take you along (as much as I could!) on Royal Caribbean's exclusive Behind the Waves tour. While filming wasn't allowed in most areas, I’m sharing all the highlights — and wow, there were a lot! We started in the theater where we got to watch performers reblocking their dances — such a cool, unexpected moment! Even better, our tour guide was one of the ship’s top performers, which made the whole experience even more special. Then we got a peek at the ship's massive laundry operation (it runs nonstop!), one of the cleanest kitchens I’ve ever seen — and I’ve worked in some big ones — and rooms stacked floor-to-ceiling with boxes and boxes of food. It really makes you wonder... how much food does a cruise ship go through in a week? Spoiler: it's A LOT. We also got to visit the ship’s control room, where the engineering team was actively working to fix an electrical issue — it was incredible to see their focus and teamwork in action. It’s clear the ship never sleeps, and neither does the crew! And funny enough, we found out the bridge — yes, the place where they steer the ship — was right next to our stateroom. How wild is that? This tour gave me a whole new appreciation for everything (and everyone) behind the scenes that keeps the cruise experience running smoothly. If you're sailing with Royal Caribbean, Behind the Waves is a must-do. 👉 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more cruise content and travel adventures! #RoyalCaribbean #CruiseVlog #BehindTheWaves #CruiseTour #CruiseLife #TravelVlog #BehindTheScenes #CruiseShipTour
