Faroe Islands is a fascinating country and wonderful destination with its unique topography of grassy hills and waterfalls and it's jutting volcanic rock formations. I took a day trip by bus and boat to see Vagar Island from the sea. It was incredibly rainy that day, which is not unusual for the "Land of Maybe," but it was still beautiful to see. The bus ride along the shore line was gorgeous, although a little tough to see through the rainy windows. The boat ride was spectacular and allowed you to see the amazing rock formations and waterfalls along the coast. The excursion was originally scheduled for a visit to the Vestmanna Sea Cliffs, but due to the rainy and windy weather it was changed to Vagar Island. I'm sure both of these destinations offer fantastic views.
