Part 1 of our 2024/25 Christmas and New year cruise from Liverpool to Madeira, Canary Islands and Lisbon, onboard Fred Olsen Bolette. We take a stormy drive to Liverpool, where we board the Bolette. We explore some of the ship, admire the Christmas decorations, eat at the Bloomsbury main dining room, and the Poolside, have drinks at most of the bars, including trying Cocktails of the day. Our departure was delayed for a day due to bad weather, so we explore some of Liverpool's historic dock area, then visit the thermal suite back on board, before finally departing a very wet and windy Liverpool waterfront, around midnight, and head for our first port of call, Madeira.
