Creator's Key Takeaways

we did notice compared to our other cruises is the size of the balcony it is absolutely massive

it was very nice you know pretty a little bit breezy but it was nice and was very manageable

we definitely think that a front-facing balcony is a good idea in most circumstances

we had a great time when we did ours

Creator's Tips & Advice

Consider front-facing balconies for their size and views, especially on shorter cruises.
Check if the cruise line locks balconies in strong winds, though this wasn't an issue for them.

On some cruise ships there are balconies on the front of the ship and when we cruised the Baltic on the Regal Princess that's exactly the stateroom we picked. We didn't exactly pick it on purpose but we booked so late it was pretty much all that was left! So what did we think? Since its classified as an "Obstructed" balcony on the Regal and Royal Princess it is cheaper but when reading online many people said it was a bad idea, so was the discount worth it? Let us tell you what we found and if booking a front facing balcony can be value or bust! Would we pick this again when cruising on the Regal or Royal princess? What about other cruise lines?
