Carnival Venezia debuted for Carnival Cruise Lines in May 2023 with an inaugural sailing from Barcelona and we were there! We had 15 days to explore the ship and truly get a feel for what we loved, what we didn't love, and what we hated about the ship. This video looks at all of the new venues and spaces on board that are unique to Carnival Venezia. We recorded a ton of video, took thousands of pictures, and captured all of our thoughts so that you could get better insight into the ship. In true This Cruise Life fashion, we review the Food, Drinks, Entertainment, and General thoughts about the ship. We tell you the things we loved (there's a lot!), some of the things we didn't love, and a couple things that we hated about the ship. Carnival Venezia is a Vista-class ship and is sister to Carnival Vista, Carnival Horizon, and Carnival Panorama. Though, she's a sister in layout and name only, as the ship was built for Carnival's sister brand, Costa Cruises as Costa Venezia. She debuted for Carnival Cruise Line as part of the line's "Fun Italian Style" concept and still sports her Costa funnel. Additionally, you'll see in this video that she also sports a TON of Costa and Italian flare. She will be joined in 2024 with a second ship in the Fun Italian Style concept when the Costa Firenze transforms and becomes the Carnival Firenze sailing from Long Beach.
