Fun time at Costa Maya: Aviarius and 80's show on Carnival Dream

We visited Costa Maya, Mexico on our Carnival Dream Nov-Dec 2022 cruise. We did not have a lot planned for that day, other that checking out the port area and visiting the Aviarius. This was a large bird aviary with a wide variety of birds in different areas. You got to walk from one section to the next on little suspension bridges overlooking the area below. We sat at the pool area for a little bit and then checked out some of the shops before we headed back to the ship. The entrance cost was $14 per person, and you get a little cup of bird food that you can feed the birds with. You cannot touch the birds, they will come to you if they feel like it, and at times you might have multiple birds fighting over the food. Dinner was pretty low key and they did not do a show that night in the dining room. After dinner, we saw the 80's Pop show at the Encore Theater, that was a lot of fun and lots of energy. They had a mega deck party later that night, it was fun to watch.
