Goodbye Fawley! (Demolition of the Fawley Power Station Chimney) - 31/10/2021

A short and somewhat bumpy video showing the demolition of the Fawley Power Station Chimney and the remains of the old Turbine Hall at 7am on Sunday 31st August 2021 as viewed from a boat out on the water. Such a sad end to a 50-year-old iconic landmark. Visiting Calshot or sailing down Southampton Water on a Cruise Ship or the Isle of Wight Ferry will never feel right without the chimney being gone.
