Creator's Key Takeaways

the evening offering in the executive lounge was fantastic. So much so that yesterday we had a really nice large okonamiyaki pancake for lunch

I have to say that outside of probably Disney, I think it was probably one of the best club level offerings that we've had

If I had to be critical, I would say it's obviously it's Hilton branded. It's not very adventurous if you come to this part of the world

Creator's Tips & Advice

Use the executive lounge for evening food and drinks, as it offers a great variety and can serve as a light dinner
If you want a more authentic experience, consider a non-Hilton hotel in Hiroshima

About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

After our Celebrity cruise we had a week in Japan and we traveled to Hiroshima first on the Shinkansen and stayed in the Hilton Hiroshima for two nights. This is a tour of an Executive Room, 2 Twin Beds, Corner. Generally is was a lovely room with main gripes being it is somewhat bland and generic. I did mention in the video that the executive lounge is excellent and whilst it did have a reasonable food offering, compared to all the latter hotels in Japan it was absolutely rammed like a zoo with people falling over each other clambering around with plates of food. It was nothing relaxing like the Osaka hotel we went to later. I guess on night one I was easily pleased and maybe not accustomed to what really is Japanese hotel quality which is generally incredible.
