See what Holland America cruise line has to offer, including menus, when it comes to snacks to satisfy the afternoon & late night hunger of vacationers! Afternoon tea at 3 PM on sea days was pretty good with tasty sweets, including a scone with orange marmalade. New York Pizza is also an option until 5 PM, with our favorite being the Finoccio pizza by famed chef Elizabeth Faulkner. Also on the pool deck is a Mexican Food station that seems to be new. Dive In Cafe is our favorite- with delicious burgers, including vegetarian options. The portabella mushroom burger is spectacular, and so are are the hot dogs there. The fries are the BEST we have ever tasted at sea. At the nearby Lido Market buffet, despite lunch closing at around 1:30 PM, Holland America offers some snack there throughout the afternoon as well. The salad station is open, and some sandwiches are available for guests, including a station that serves tasty real ice scream. Dinner buffet closes at a relatively early 8 PM, but HAL does open a late night buffet that goes from 10:30 PM to 11:30 PM. We show the sample menu & some sample food here as well.
