Holland America Snacks Food at Late Night Lido Buffet, Dive In Cafe & Explorations Cafe (4K)

See what food Holland America has to offer for snacking via the Dive In Cafe, Explorations Cafe, and the Lido Market (Late Night Buffet). Menus are included. The Dive In Cafe, which opens in the afternoon until 5 PM, is a good idea, though the food wasn't as good as Carnival's Guy's Burgers, nor Royal Caribbean's Boardwalk Dogs. There is also Afternoon Tea on sea days, though it was more of social event than culinary. Although Holland America does not have a 24 hour eatery, they do offer a late night buffet at the Lido Market from 10:30 PM to 11:30 PM. The offerings there were pretty satisfying, though you kind of wish that it opened earlier and closed later, since the dinner buffet ends at 8 PM. Highlights from the late night buffet included: * Butter Cake * Shrimp Ebi Fry * Baba Ganoush * Chargrilled Beef with Pickles & Peppers * Beef Spicy Sesame Something interesting that only Holland America offers on its Alaska Cruises is Pea Soup. Our son certainly enjoyed its heartiness and warmth on the outside deck in the cold of Alaska.
