Icon of the Seas: Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas Arrival & Departure on May 8th, 2024

On May 4th the Icon of the Seas set sail on a 7 night Eastern Caribbean and Perfect Day in CocoCay sailing. Sailing round trip from Miami she made stops in St. Maarten and St. Thomas as well as the addition of CocoCay in the Bahamas. On May 8th the Icon of the Seas made her way to the port of St Thomas. Arriving early in the morning she was met thunderstorms while docking. The rains that followed led to most excursions for the day being canceled and the majority of people staying onboard. Along with the Icon of the Seas the Carnival Vista and Norwegian Sky were in port at the Havensight Cruise Pier across the harbor. The Celebrity Beyond also joined her directly across the pier offering Captain Kate McCue and Captain Teo a chance to meetup on the pier. In the afternoon under blue skies the Icon had an early 3PM departure as she set sail with a horn battle.
