Icon of the Seas: Philipsburg, St. Maarten Arrival & Departure on May 7th, 2024
YouTube Video Description↓
On May 4th the Icon of the Seas set sail on a 7 night Eastern Caribbean and Perfect Day in CocoCay sailing. Sailing round trip from Miami she made stops in St. Maarten and St. Thomas as well as the addition of CocoCay in the Bahamas. On May 7th the Icon of the Seas made her first port of call of the sailing on day 4 as she visited St. Maarten. A port that has three piers and can often have up to 6 or more ships in port at a time, the place was deserted with the massive Icon of the Seas spending the day alone. She neared the island in the early morning and turned around by the pier to back into her berth. After a long day in port the weather started to turn south just in time for her to set sail as the rain crossed the harbor towards her. Eventually as she sailed away the rain finally caught up to her. This video was filmed on 5/7/2024 while visiting Philipsburg St. Maarten. 7 Night May 4th, 2024 Eastern Caribbean and Perfect Day Sailing Itinerary: Day 1: Miami, FL (5/4/24 Departing 5:00 PM) Day 2: Day at Sea (5/5/24) Day 3: Day at Sea (5/6/24) Day 4: Philipsburg, St. Maarten (5/7/24 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM) Day 5: Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas (5/8/24 from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM) Day 6: Day at Sea (5/9/24) Day 7: Perfect Day CocoCay, Bahamas (5/10/24 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) Day 8: Miami, FL (5/11/24 Arriving 2:30 AM) Content: 0:00:00 Intro 0:00:16 Nearing St. Maarten 0:03:06 Reaching the Harbor 0:12:10 Turning at the Pier 0:14:49 Backing into the Berth 0:28:09 Docked 0:29:04 Icon of the Seas from Ashore 0:29:54 Rain Moving Across the Harbor 0:31:09 Departing 0:37:50 Cleared the Piers 0:53:50 Sailing Through Rain 0:55:25 Next Videos
