Independence of The Seas Spectacular entrance with firetug escort display Southampton Docks 12/05/18

What a spectacular way to end the days cruise ship arrivals and departures with the arrival of Royal Caribbeans's very popular cruise ship the 'Independence of The Seas' she is seen here arriving into Southampton Docks on the 12th May 2018 for a 18:30pm due arrival at the Mayflower Cruise Terminal. There was a brilliant firetug water display to mark the event of her return as she has had a massive multi-million pound major makeover refurbishemnt done with new additions on the top deck etc. The tugs providing the water display escort were Lomax and Svitzer Adira, 'Independence of The Seas' is due to depart Mayflower Cruise Terminal on the 13th May for a local 2 day coastal cruise at 17:00pm. She will be here in Southampton for the current summer cruise season. Her last port call before Southampton was Brest in France.
