Refurbished in November 2016 the ship has been refreshed and brought up to date with many new furnishings, features and highlights. Enhancements have been made to cabins, suites, dining venues and public spaces, creating a fresh and revitalising atmosphere throughout the ship. Cabins have been revamped with new bedding and bed frames, brighter lights, a new mini bar (stocked on request) and hairdryer. All cabin bathrooms have been refreshed with more than half being completely refitted with new tiling, vanity unit and lockable storage shelves. Dining options onboard are plentiful and range from relaxed buffet style to quick bites or superb a la carte options for a special evening. There are numerous venues onboard offering entertainment throughout the evening, as well as providing a place to rest and relax with refreshments during the day. Black Watch boasts heated swimming pools, sun loungers and Jacuzzis for you to enjoy. You will also find onboard a library, a spa and salon, Scandinavian sauna and a Card Room especially for Bridge tournaments, card and board games. Accommodation From November 2016 Black Watch guests can benefit from new bedding and bed frames in all cabins onboard. New UK plug sockets have been fitted plus integrated USB portals. Onboard the Black Watch you can choose from a range of single, double or twin accommodation. For single travellers, you have the choice of Single Inside or Single Outside cabins. For double and twin accommodation, you can choose from Inside, Outside and Balcony Cabins. All come with an ensuite bathroom, interactive television, mini bar, mini safe and hairdryer. If you’re looking for something a little more luxurious, then Black Watch also hosts a range of comfortable suites. Single Balcony Suites, Superior Junior Suites and Junior Suites feature their own sitting room, ensuite bathroom, television and fridge.
