On my third voyage to the breathtaking landscapes of Juneau, Alaska, I finally seized the opportunity to experience the majestic glaciers from a bird's eye view. I embarked on this journey aboard the NCL Bliss, making the most of their $50 shore excursion credit by pre-booking the 5 Glacier Seaplane Exploration. The flight was nothing short of spectacular! We soared over the lush Tongass National Forest and five of Alaska's most awe-inspiring glaciers. While I couldn't pinpoint each glacier in the video, the pilot's clear narration through the provided headsets made it easy to follow along. During the 40-minute flight, we flew over the Norris, Hole in the Wall, East and West Twins, and the Taku - the largest glacier in the Juneau icefield. This tour was an absolute delight and I wouldn't hesitate to book it again. In fact, I'm contemplating booking the flight that includes a pit stop at Wings Airways' Taku Lodge. It's a chance to stretch my legs with a hike and indulge in a hearty lunch of local seafood. If your cruise line's pricing for these trips seems steep, I'd recommend checking out wingsairways.com to compare rates. Wings Airways even offers a guarantee to arrange your transportation to the next port if their equipment causes you to miss your ship's departure. For this particular trip, NCL charged me $332.10, which was slightly less than Wings Airways. So, it's definitely worth comparing prices before you book. @RixTrips Website: www.RixTrips.com https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCg9eVnKxw4yNiLLGF2eZ3Zg?sub_confirmation=1 #seaplanes #floatplane #juneau #solocruise #alaskacruise #glacier
