Virgin voyages prides themselves in changing up cruising and one way they did that is by not having a buffet or large dining hall. What they have done is brought in the galley instead. So what is the Galley Virgin Voyages, and is it better than a buffet? We are going to tell you everything you need to know. Initially I thought the Galley was Virgin Voyages Buffet as there were a lot of similarities with other cruise lines buffet. In the Galley there were food stations, so you might have asian, bbq, dessert and so on which is not a new idea. At first look Virgin Voyages took that to the next level with their food stall theming but there is more to it than that. In the Galley Virgin the dining area has 8 or 10 different food stalls that you can choose from, but instead of waiting in line, you choose a table and a server will come to you. This was one change Virgin Voyages Cruise Line made that we really like. The Galley does have a food court vibe with table services. This is just one way Virgin Voyages Cruise Ships are different from other cruise lines. When we sailed we were on Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady and we really liked the amount of included beverage options. This is the same on Virgin Voyages Valiant and Resilient lady. There is a self serve station with water, pop, juice and hot drinks that are included. Looking for an alcoholic drink there is an area you can get beer and wine and just tape your Virgin Voyages band to pay. We were really impressed with Virgin Voyages food and drink options but at the Galley there is not as many options at dinner as there is at lunch. We hope that you enjoyed our Virgin Voyages video.
