Creator's Key Takeaways
I personally think that a midship area room is preferable.
It is absolutely beautiful. So, if you get out here and you got the time, I would say make the trek.
Overall I would say this was a big successful whale watching trip.
It is prohibitively expensive, but everything in Alaska is expensive.

On the second episode of our Royal Caribbean Anthem of the seas Alaska cruise we arrive at our first port, Juneau Alaska. We start the day with some coffee and have some discussion on the best spot to book a room. We grab brunch before enjoying another lecture, this time about sea otters. We head to Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center where we check out the glacier and walk over to the incredible Nugget Falls. After our first adventure we head back to the pier to meet up with our excursion group for our second journey of the day. We head out on a whale watching quest where we try a variety of local Alaskan foods while spotting several different types of local wildlife. What a day, a remarkable start to our days in Alaska.
